2022’S FLYING STARS

The annual Flying Star chart comes into full effect from Feb 4th 2022. However, it is customary to update the feng shui of your home earlier – from December 21st onwards is best, as the energy of the past year begins to wane after the winter solstice. This means we will begin to feel the effects of the next year’s chart, starting from this date. December 21st is also the first day of office for the new Tai Sui.

It is vital that you update the Feng Shui of your home to maximize your luck for the coming year. What you need to do is place the recommended remedies or enhancers in the correct corners of your home, to reduce or negate the effects of afflictions, and to strengthen the good luck indications within your home.

When reading each forecast, bear in mind that the stars will affect you if any one of the following scenarios apply:

  • The entrance to your home is facing the direction in question (e.g. the #2 Illness Star affects you if your house is facing Southwest).
  • Your entrance is located in the sector (e.g. the #3 star affects you if your entrance is located in the East, even if it is facing a different direction).
  • Your bedroom is located in the corner of the house in question.
  • The star visits your animal palace. (e.g. if you are born in a Rooster year, then the Robbery Star #7 in the West, the palace of the Rooster, indicates possible loss for you.)
SUBDUING THE AFFLICTION STARS
5 YELLOW IS IN THE CENTER OF THE HOME
The central square this year is occupied by the Five Yellow, a misfortune star that brings all kinds of bad luck. If you get hit by its inauspicious energies, the consequences can be serious. It affects ALL HOMES AND HOUSEHOLDS, and being an Earth star located in an Earth sector, this strong Earth affliction cannot be ignored. Display the Supremacy of Heaven Energy activator in the center of your home / office to represent Celestial energy controlling harmful Earth energies. Display the large Heart Sutra Pagoda here and smaller-sized versions in individual rooms where you spend the most time. Those born in Dog, Dragon, Ox or Sheep years MUST carry the portable, mini-sized Heart Sutra Pagoda as added protection.
Do not renovate, drill or break any walls in the Center area. Keep this sector as quiet as possible to avoid energizing this star.
2 ILLNESS STAR IN THE SOUTHWEST
The Illness Star #2 flies into the Southwest, home palace of the Sheep and Monkey. These two signs are at greatest risk of succumbing to illness and will need to take extra precautions with regards to their health. As this star resides in its original Lo Shu position, its influence is markedly stronger. But regardless of your animal sign, if your main door or bedroom is located SW, or if your home faces SW, you must ensure this affliction is properly remedied.

Display a Wu Lou with Joyous Cranes in the Southwest. Those born in Sheep and Monkey years are advised to carry the Good Health & Well-Being Medallion. All matriarchs should have the Stay Healthy Amulet or wear the Medicine Buddha-Vairocana Mantra Ring. Elderly and sick individuals are advised to move out of Southwest bedrooms this year.
7 ROBBERY STAR IN THE WEST
The #7 Star takes up residence in the West and afflicts those born in years of the Rooster. If your front door faces West or is located West, you must step up security and place cures to protect your assets and your wealth. Display the Armored Elephant and Rhinoceros or Anti-Robbery Plaque in this part of your home or office. If you head a business or work in a competitive environment, display Kwan Kung on Horseback to overcome competitors, Kwan Kung with Tiger to protect against money loss and Kwan Kung with Dragon to guard against betrayal. Those born in Rooster years benefit from wearing the Bhrum pendant.
3 QUARRELSOME STAR IN THE EAST
The #3 star brings conflict energy to the East, affecting those born in Rabbit years. For those with bedrooms located in the East or who have East-facing doors, things can get especially bad. If not subdued, its quarrelsome energies can lead to lawsuits, court cases… even jail time. To protect the meaningful relationships in your life, display the Magical Cosmic Apple in the East. In 2022, it afflicts homes and bedrooms that face or are located North, and those born in Rat, Horse, Ox, Boar, Snake and Sheep years. Enhance with Jade Emperor Windchime or Heavenly Star Windchime. Boost #6 star’s auspicious Metal energies and enhance Patriarch’s ability to lead by placing the Magic Golden Dragon here. As Dragon and Tiger together symbolizes wealth luck, displaying images of Dragons in years of the Tiger becomes even more auspicious.
1 VICTORY STAR IN THE NORTH
The Victory Star #1 showers all residents of homes facing North with winning luck and new opportunities. The number 1 is highly auspicious, and in this year, the North of homes and offices should be strongly activated. Display the New Victory Banner to tap the success-generating energies here. The #4 star also brings romance luck. Anyone looking for romance should display the Kurukulle Plaque in the SE. If marriage is what you want, place your animal sign’s Peach Blossom Animal or the Romance Lock in the SE.
9 FUTURE PROSPERITY STAR IN THE SOUTH
